Die raumgreifende Installation nimmt geometrische Formen zum Ausgangspunkt für eine Begegnung zweier Orte und wiederkehrender Formen. In einer doppelten Bewegung werden dabei Elemente und Materialien einer Architektur in Madrid auf den Münchner Ausstellungsraum übertragen und gespiegelt: Nachdem Leal Olloqui im Münchner Atelier an geometrischen Latexmustern, bestehend aus Rauten und Quadraten, arbeitete, entdeckte sie dieselben Formen bei einer Reise in den Häuserfassaden und Mauern einer Parkanlage in ihrer Geburtsstadt Madrid wieder. Aus den sich wiederholenden Mustern entwickelte Leal Olloqui eine Formensprache, die die übergreifenden Strukturen und Materialien beider Orte aufgreift und in neue Anordnungen überträgt. Die Positionen im Ausstellungsraum folgen ebenfalls der Logik des Spiegelns und Wiederholens des Produktionsprozesses – verschiedene Zeiten, Räume, Formen und Materialien bilden ein strukturelles Beziehungsgefüge.

The expansive installation takes geometric forms as the starting point for an encounter between two places and recurring forms. In a double movement, elements and materials of architecture in Madrid are transferred and mirrored to the Munich exhibition space: After Leal Olloqui worked on geometric latex patterns consisting of rhombuses and squares in the Munich studio, she discovered the same shapes on a journey in the house facades and walls of a park in her native city Madrid again. From the repeating patterns, Leal Olloqui developed a formal language that takes up the comprehensive structures and materials of both locations and transfers them into new arrangements. The positions in the exhibition space also follow the logic of mirroring and repeating the production process - different times, spaces, shapes and materials form a structural relationship.
